Ensuring Engineering Quality to Safeguard Water Supply Safety—Construction of the First Phase of the Pukou District Water Supply Network Renovation and Upgrade Project is Underway in Full Swing.
2026-10-15
The first phase of the Pukou District water supply network renovation and upgrade project, undertaken by the Group Company, is well underway. The project team has united as one, meticulously refining the construction schedule, firmly assigning responsibilities to each position, and coordinating efforts across all aspects—including trench excavation, trench inspection and acceptance, pipeline installation, and on-site safety management—to accelerate project progress to the fullest extent.
The project contract price is RMB 81.8752 million, with a total construction period of 549 calendar days. Mainly includes Renovation and upgrading of aging water supply pipelines and associated facilities, including the section from Tangquan Longshanliang Chapel to the Old Longshan Water Plant, and from Yongning Youlian Residential Community to Qingshan Group 1, with pipeline diameters ranging from DN100 to DN800 and a total length of approximately 25 kilometers.
Currently, the project is proceeding with simultaneous construction at multiple sites: on Haixia Avenue, 214 meters of open‑cut pipeline have been completed—208 meters of D530×10 Q235B welded steel pipe and 6 meters of D426×10 Q235B welded steel pipe; pipeline installation in the Tangnong section, totaling 3,695 meters, has been fully finished; on Tainan Road, a cumulative 60 meters of pipeline have been installed out of a total length of 160 meters. Meanwhile, several sub‑projects—including Yanshan Avenue, Wuhua Road to Jiayi Road, Yinquan Road, Yulan Road, Xingzhi Road, Qingshan Road, and the Houying booster pump station—are being progressively launched. The project adheres to a quality‑first, safety‑centric approach, employs reverse scheduling and visual management, breaks down tasks into weekly milestones and assigns them to daily execution, and actively coordinates challenging on‑site issues such as intersecting utility‑line work, ensuring that safety, quality, and schedule are advanced in tandem.
Quality is the lifeline of engineering and the cornerstone of reliable water supply. All personnel involved in Phase I of the Group’s Pukou District Water Supply Network Renovation and Upgrade Project will remain committed to their original quality‑focused mission, rigorously control every construction process, implement robust, end-to-end quality management, and advance the network upgrade to the highest standards, thereby establishing a solid safeguard for the drinking water safety of residents in the jurisdiction.
