The Group Company’s Second-Quarter 2025 Safety Committee Plenary Meeting and the Launch of the “Work Safety Month” Campaign
2025-05-29
On the afternoon of May 28, the Group Company held a plenary meeting of its Safety Committee for the second quarter of 2025 and the launch ceremony for the “Work Safety Month” activities. The event was chaired by Administrative Director He Jun, with the participation of company leaders, representatives from the Safety Department, Engineering Management Center, Overseas Markets Department, Jinchí Company, and heads and safety officers from all relevant project departments—totaling 40 attendees. Together, they officially kicked off Work Safety Month, themed “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Can Respond to Emergencies—Identifying Safety Hazards Around Us.”
At the meeting, Mr. Wang, Director of the Group Safety Committee and General Manager, delivered an important address. He emphasized the extreme importance of production safety and, given current conditions, called for strengthened management focused on three areas: systems, funding, and personnel. First, fully implement the production safety responsibility system, promptly revise safety management rules and operating procedures, and break down and assign safety responsibilities to every employee. Second, ensure adequate allocation of safety funds; safety expenditures must be approved by the safety department and their use supervised. Third, continuously reinforce basic safety work, including safety education and technical-plan briefings, inspection and remediation of safety hazards, and regular management of the real-name system; strengthen on-site management and safety training, and embed problem rectification and closed-loop follow-up throughout safety efforts to ensure measures are substantive rather than merely formal. Fourth, continually improve the safety management assessment system, link evaluation results to compensation, reward high performers and penalize poor performers, and implement a merit-based selection process to effectively ensure the company’s safety situation remains continuously stable.
Finally, the company’s chairman issued important instructions, emphasizing that safety is a perennial theme of development and an inviolable bottom line. The key to safety management lies first in people—specifically, in mindset, awareness, and a sense of responsibility. As long as awareness is raised and accountability is firmly established, no task will be beyond our capabilities. Second, efforts must focus on improving and enforcing systems: by setting clear red lines, conducting rigorous inspections and oversight, and implementing strict performance evaluations with appropriate rewards and penalties, we must adopt a firm, decisive approach to ensuring safety. Third, safety management in markets outside the province must be substantially strengthened. Given the challenges posed by widespread operations, complex management requirements, and numerous weak links, dedicated meetings should be convened to develop specific measures, ensuring that all ongoing projects remain preventable and controllable. Fourth, intelligent tools must be fully leveraged to enhance safety management. Through remote monitoring, WeChat video calls, and other means, we can oversee the presence of personnel in critical positions and the status of key construction processes, thereby achieving true prevention and control.
Finally, the Chairman urged all employees of the Group to align their thinking and raise their awareness. Centered on the theme “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Can Respond to Emergencies—Identifying Safety Hazards Around Us,” they should earnestly organize and carry out the “Safety Production Month” activities. Using these activities as an opportunity, they should integrate them with efforts to address key and difficult issues in current safety development, as well as with performance evaluations and quality‑improvement initiatives. This will advance the implementation of safety responsibilities across the board, comprehensively strengthen the foundation of safety management, and enhance preventive capabilities, thereby laying a solid foundation for the company’s high‑quality development.
At the meeting, participants also watched a safety awareness video, the “Work Safety Month” activity plan was read out, and a collective safety pledge was taken.
