On the afternoon of July 21, a lecture titled “Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Leaders Supporting Anhui Businesses Going Global,” jointly organized by the Anhui Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, was held at the Provincial Socialist Academy. The Group company arranged for nearly 30 participants—including members of the Marketing Department, the Bidding Department, the Out-of-Province Markets Department, the China–Ukraine Investment and Cooperation Office, as well as department heads and above—to watch the live broadcast and study the spirit of the lecture.
At the start of the lecture, Wang Wangmiao, Secretary of the Party Group and President of the Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese, delivered a speech, underscoring the vital role of overseas Chinese entrepreneurs and community leaders in helping Anhui-based businesses expand internationally. He urged business leaders to seize opportunities, focus on enterprise development within their respective sectors, address the needs of going global, and facilitate economic and trade cooperation, while actively engaging in high-quality joint efforts to build the Belt and Road Initiative.
This lecture focused on four key regions for overseas expansion—Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa—and featured live presentations by four prominent overseas Chinese business leaders: Hu Hui, Honorary President of the Malaysia Anhui General Chamber of Commerce; Zhang Junyue, Honorary President of the Turkish Chamber of Chinese‑Invested Enterprises; Liu Zhenyuan, President of the Uzbekistan Anhui Chamber of Commerce; and Chen Jian, Executive President and Secretary-General of the Ghana Anhui General Chamber of Commerce. Drawing on their firsthand experience in international business, these leaders shared insights into overseas investment and enterprise development, while engaging with corporate guests on pressing issues such as financial management, compliance, and talent‑building in foreign markets. The session was rich in content and highly targeted, offering valuable guidance to companies considering global expansion.
The Group places great importance on this meeting and has instructed that the live broadcast be promptly organized for all employees to watch. The Chairman set forth specific requirements for implementing the spirit of the meeting, noting that, based on an analysis of domestic and international economic trends, it is imperative for the company to expand overseas. He emphasized seizing opportunities, formulating a global expansion strategy, proactively developing foreign markets, mitigating risks, reducing costs, improving efficiency, and achieving new growth. He expressed the hope that the entire Group will unite in purpose and work together with a long-term perspective, with every employee contributing their due efforts to strengthen operations and secure sustainable development.
